On Proboards (the website that hosts these forums) when registering you may be required to choose between male or female for the gender option. This isn't something that we can change unfortunately and we apologize. There are however ways to hide and change your gender after registration.
Normally on Proboards when posting, your Mini Profile within the forums would show a corresponding female or male icon, but we have removed this feature so even if you haven't made any modifications to your information, your initial gender option choice will not be displayed within the forums:
Your initial gender option will still be displayed on your profile:
To remove it, while viewing your profile:
If you would like to display a gender on your Mini profile, or a different gender from the original options on your Profile, write your gender and/or pronouns in your Status Box (available on your profile). On your Mini Profile, it will be displayed like this:

- Click the Edit Profile button in the top right corner.
- Click into the Privacy tab.
- The fourth option down the list is Gender Visibility. Select the circle that says No. Save at the bottom on the page and exit.
- Your initial gender option choice will no longer be visible on your profile.
