The team and I have been discussing opening up the forum to the public in order to make our forum more accessible for people who find our forum through Internet searching and not solely through our Tumblr.
As it is at the moment, only the 'AvPD Community HQ' boards (excluding Introductions) is public. When a non-member or logged out member accesses the forum, those are the only visible boards.
The proposed change to our visibility would mean that all of the boards (excluding sensitive topics such as Abuse and Sexuality) would be visible to anyone who accessed the forum, member or not.
Of course before we implement any change we want to know what you guys, our members, think about the proposed change and whether you would be comfortable with it.
